Cardinal & Berries Lantern Card & Envelope
My Lantern Cards & matching Envelope Cards are fun to make and a great keepsake for the holidays.
Included in the kit: Card sheets, 3D images, salutation tag, envelope and assembly instructions. All you need to provide is the paper and any embellishments you wish to add.
Have fun and wow your recipient.
Make sure you ONLY USE AN LED TEALIGHT in the card for safety reasons.

Printed on matte photo paper. I cut out the large pieces with scissors, and most of the insides of the windows with a craft knife.
I colored the cut edges of the roof pieces with a copper marker, and the windows with a black marker.
I used DST to assemble the lantern, and silicone to attach the decoupage birds. I strengthened the top loops by covering the outside of each loop with a copper metallic puff paint. Added Glossy Accents to the more focal berries and some thick, glitter glue "snow" to the roof line and the window sills.
Finished with a ribbon tied through the loops and added some glass "berries". I'm using this in my home, so I didn't make the matching envelope or the gift tag this time.
