SERENGETI SAFARI TWIST & POP BIRTHDAY CARD KIT
Who doesn't love the idea of animals in their natural habitat? This surprising card is for them (or you) with an African plain with elephants, zebras, and giraffes that pop-out horizontally when you open the card vertically! It is quite surprising so sure to wow the recipient, but incredibly simple to do. Three pages of instructions with lots of BIG diagrams are included and photos uploaded from other crafters to my page confirm these cards are easy to make up ! Easy pyramid decoupage for the cheetah family on the front, and of course a matching 'image' envelope. I printed the insert mechanism and pop out picture panel onto 160gsm satin paper and the rest onto 200gsm photo paper.
I passed the base card through the printer again to add the backing sheet. I scored, cut out and folded as required and assembled the card.
A novel card that has wow factor to spare and not difficult to make.
Following the instructions I printed out all the pieces. Scored and cut where needed. I joined the front to the back using DST. folded up the pop out element and glued in place making sure it was central.
I added decoupage to the front of the card Ising 3D foam pads and added some of the sentiments. I then made up the envelope as per instructions.
