3D Room with a View - Sweet Dreams New Baby BoyCompleted by Jane Clark

My first attempt at making a 3D card. I printed out all the sheets plus one extra sheet of front frame v2 and one extra sheet of the text plate.

I then, before starting the cutting out, sprayed the sheets with a clear lacquer spray to give extra durability to the card and then cut, scored and followed very easy instructions to make it.

I cut out the bunting and flowers from the extra front frame sheet to make some decoupage attaching with sticky foam pads, next to the flowers at the bottom of the card I attached my chosen sentiment.

For the back of the card (photo not shown) I cut out the middle of the text plate, i took the extra sheet i had printed and cut out just the frame, i then cut around one of the spare sentiment labels to leave just a piece of plain blue card and with silver peel off lettering I wrote the baby's name.

I then attached a congratulations sentiment label at top of the card and underneath i put the name label I had made.

I then took a small photo of the baby and with a small piece of backing card I stuck it to where the text plate would have been and then attached the extra frame around the photo.

A truly beautiful card to make which i thoroughly enjoyed and the added little extras gave it that special touch for my friend.

A lovely keepsake for new parents :-).
