Interlocking Topper Card - Art Deco Fashion
This kit makes a card which will measure 8"x8".
The front of the card has a central topper with an interlocking front cover. When you open the cover there is an internal topper.
Inside the card there is matching insert.
All cards come with a matching gift tag, which you can either use as a gift tag or use to decorate the front of the card by attaching by ribbon, cord, brad or eyelet.
This particular card has additional decoupage for the front of the card.
The kit includes 6 printable pages but one of those is an optional backing paper.

Also included in the kit are full step by step instructions with photographs and diagrams, a preview of a finished card and a small readme file to explain the optional backing paper.

I printed the sheets onto 200gsm photo paper except the internal pieces which the designer said to print onto 120gsm paper.
I scored, cut out and assembled the card as per the very easy instructions.
I added the decoupage using foam pads and finished by adding the insert to the card. I chose to photo this with the front open so you can see the impact which will wow the recipient.
As the gold star shows the card open I thought that I would show it closed. I printed the design on matte photo paper and paper as directed by the easy to follow instructions.
I constructed and closed the topper (and it really IS simple to close following the directions given). I added a little colour by going around the edges of the card with a red ink pad. A quick, simple yet effective card to make.
