Lilac Baby Shoe in BoxCompleted by Heather Beechey
OccasionPrinted onto 190gsm lightweight card, cut out all the elements and assembled the box first. Although no instructions are on the sheet, it is not hard to follow the score/fold lines, add d/s tape to the short end folds and assemble. I then added one rabbit to the side of the box top using 2mm foam dots.
I then assembled the shoe by scoring and folding the serrated edges under, bending and glueing the top of the shoe in place, attaching the strap with glue and adding the button using a 2mm foam dot. Then to add the bottom to the shoe, make sure that you hold one of the bottom pieces so the pattern is showing on the inside of the shoe, proceed to glue the folded edges to the bottom layer. The serrated edges will now be showing on the outside. Once dry, glue the other sole to cover and finish by adding the bunny using 2mm foam dots.
A very cute new baby or christening keepsake, that does take a little time and effort, but the end result is worth it. There possibly may be a tutorial in the CUP forum.
