I printed these papers onto glossy photo paper. I made a concertina card as follows:

I cut 3 pieces of thin white card 21cm x 21cm folding each in half horizontally and vertically then fold each square diagonally from top left to bottom right. Fold each in on itself to create a 10cm square.

Open up all three squares and place two quarters in front of you with the two folded quarters at the top and bottom points facing up.

Place the third square between them with the folded quarters at the top and bottom but with their points facing down. Attach the squares together with the centre piece squares attached to the left and right squares. Fold in on itself like a book making a 10cm square

Cut two 13cm squares from thick cream pearlised card cover one side with silver mirror card completely for the other side cut a piece of backing sheet slightly smaller all round and attach using double sided tape. Attach these to the front and back of the concertina with the patterened paper on the outside and the mirror card on the inside.

Add silver mirror card triangles slightly smaller than the triangles to each of the 12 triangles and do the same with the 4 squares.

Cut blossom papers in 4 different colours smaller still than the mirror card triangles layer these using double sided tape then i embellished with mini oriental pictures, gems, peel off dragonflies and other enbellishments plus a small sentiment in one of the squares and 2 metal fans a black cat etc. The possibilities for using embellishments are endless and great fun to do.

To make the box cut a piece of white boxboard 19.5cm square for the bottom and for the lid a 19.7cm square.

Score in 3cm from each side and cut out a piece diagonally accross each corner of both the lid and bottom.

Fold using a bone folder each corner triangle and on the 3cm folds too using PVA glue on the triangles attach on the inside of the box and use paper clips to hold each corner in place while drying.

Cut a piece of blossom paper slightly smaller than the lid and attach using double sided tape then using a some pink narrow felt ribbon attached with anarrow strong tape criss cross the lid then i added a pink best wishes some pink butterflies and a mandalla peel off on pink shiny card to the centre and finished with pink heart gems and a lilac square gem in the centre.
