First I cut a piece of mauve card to fit an 8 x 8 card leaving a narrow border. Then I cut a piece of Paper 1 in this gorgeous set to fit the mauve card also leaving a narrow border.
I punched the corners of both pieces and matted together. Then using a Tattered Lace die (Cut & Tuck Heart) I cut one in mauve and one in white. I then folded back the two pieces so that the white showed on the front and attached it to the top left.
Then using another Tattered Lace die (Spring Lace Border) I cut a strip of mauve card and die cut both edges.
With a narrow piece of leftover mauve card I threaded it through another Tattered Lace die (Buckle Slider) and making sure it was higher up the strip I attached this to the topper.
I then added the fancy edged strip across the bottom, adding some white pearls to the flowers.
Using Tattered Lace Sentiment dies I then added the sentiment. To finish I placed a mauve gem onto the slider. Using the mauve sheet from cup591303_692, I placed the insert inside using d/s tape. The insert has been left blank so that my customer can write their own message.
