Swirls Paper PackCompleted by Joan Prince

Printed out 2 copies of Paper 2 from this lovely set of backing papers. I cut a piece of brown card to fit a white 8 x 8 scallop edge card and then trimmed one of pieces of backing to fit leaving a narrow border and matted together.

I then placed this onto the card using d.s. tape. Then using the same brown card and Tonic Venetian Lace Layering Die Set I cut out one of the squares and placed this turned 45 degrees onto the card using foam pads.

Using Diesire Sentiment Die and gold mirror card I cut out Happy Birthday and added this to the centre using wet glue.

I then added matching card candy to all four corners and either side of the sentiment. Using the second piece of backing, I trimmed to fit the card, die cut an aperture in the centre and placed this inside as the insert.

The white showing through the aperture can be used by my customer to write their own message.
