Cute Bear Recipe Book KitCompleted by Jane Steinhagen
OccasionI printed all of the sheets on good quality cardstock and cut them out. Before I printed the divider labels, I typed 3 different words onto the blank labels.
I want to use my book for a young bride to put recipes in given to her by her mom and friends and of course her own.
Next, I glued the front and back of book to a lightweight cardstock the same size and scored down the middle to fold easier.
I also backed the dividers with 1/4" extra where they would touch the middle of the book so I could punch holes for small rings, brads or just string.
I made 1 extra plain white, 1/4" wider backing that would be bound with the rest but glued to the back cover so the recipes dividers and the recipes themselves would not fall out.
It was actually very easy and a clever idea.
