I've never done anything with a journal before and was a bit overwhelmed until I stopped thinking and just dove in.

Using 11 sheets of cardstock, scissors, regular craft glue, and a bone folder only, I ended up with 9 or 18, how do you count these, pages including the front and back.

I did not pay close attention once I started, the third photo is the page actually marked as the cover.

I've only bound a book before by sewing, and this was too sturdy to attempt so I made sure each page was glued together well and used a scrap folded over the sides and glued only to the front and back covers.

I'd say this was a great project, especially as a beginner because I am now ready to attempt another one.
