Card in a Box - Two TeddiesCompleted by Heather Beechey
OccasionPrinted onto 200gsm smooth card, then cut out all the elements. A very comprehensive tutorial is included in the kit, so although the finished product may appear complicated, by following the tutorial, you will find it a very easy card to make.
I assembled the box first using d/s tape where needed, attached the acetate to the inside of the lid also using d/s tape, then added the decoupage using 2mm foam dots.
I then assembled the book card using 3mm d/s tape down the back of the centre fold of the top page and attached it to the back page, then added the decoupage using 2mm foam dots.
I then cut around the stand leaving a few millimetres of white at the edges, then glued the stand to a piece of coordinating cardstock for added strength. Once the glue had dried, I then cut out the stand, scored and folded it as directed.
These cards in a box are a great keepsake for someone special and there are many more designs for different occasions by designer June Young.
