This design is stunning and I am giving it to my Mum for Christmas. It is very easy to make following the included instructions. The only problem that I had is finding pens small enough to fit. I couldn't find any anywhere so I am presenting the gift with the pen across the top of the card but, as you can see in the first photo, it still has the ribbon to keep it in when in use.

I felt that that section of the card would have the most use so I reinforced it with a piece of scrap photo paper before cutting the hole and adding the ribbon.

The calendar holder is very simple to make and holds the calendar sheets securely. As the decoupage goes behind the calendar sheets I flat stuck the first layer of decoupage to avoid pushing the sheets out too far.

The 2nd photo shows the easel card closed with the presentation box behind it and the 3rd photo is a close up of the presentation box. I have used all the layers of decoupage but, if you are not as keen on fussy cutting or you are short on time, choose only a couple of layers.
