Cascade Deluxe Golden Wedding Anniversary
A lovely and unusual card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary. A lot easier to make than you think with easy to follow photographic instructions in the kit. Folds flat for posting. Also has a mini envelope and mini writing paper for a mini message.
Lots of spare yellow roses so you can use as many as you like. Fits into a standard size C5 envelope but has a matching one in the kit.
This tutorial shows how to assemble a Cascade Deluxe card after cutting out the pieces. This one is cut out using scissors after printing. Each side has to pieces which are glued together so that both sides of the patterns can be seen.
Slots are cut in the sides and they are slotted over each other so that they fold flat for posting.

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. Following the instructions, I scored and folded the side panels and cut where instructed to do so. I attached the insert panels to each side using double sided tape and assembled as per the instructions.
I attached the greeting half semi-circle to the panels and then the flowers using thin foam tape. I printed extra flowers so that I could decoupage the yellow centre to each flower as suggested. I also printed the small envelope and greeting onto 160gsm paper and cut these out. I scored and folded the small envelope and folded it accordingly.
I assembled it using strong thin double sided tape. I attached this envelope to the front of the card using double sided tape and then folded one of the greetings into four and placed it inside the envelope to complete.
It will fit into an 8 x 8 envelope for posting.
I may keep this one for myself as it is my Golden Wedding in a few weeks. Where do the years go.
