Frosted Snowflakes - Purples - Square Cards with Envelopes
This is a set of three lovely cards with decoupage snowflakes and matching envelopes. The base cards are super easy - just print on card, cut out and fold - and they have a lovely sparkly effect.
The extra snowflakes are easy to cut out either with scissors or a craft knife. I have left the background colour visible so that you need only cut around the outside, but if you want to add extra depth, you can use a craft knife to cut out the inner pieces too.

The dark purple design was chosen for this card. I printed the designsheet and snowflake topper on very smooth card and the envelope on 160gsm paper, and cut everything out. I scored and folded the card design to make my cardbase. I used a craft knife to cut out the inner parts of the snowflake then added stickles glitter to add extra sparkle. I used sparing amounts of purple stickles on the tiny snowflakes and to the centre of the large snowflake for shine. I attached the snowflake topper with transparent sticky pads, added tiny silver holly leaves in two corners, a silver peel-off sentiment "winter's snow", and lavender pearls for holly berries and centre of the snowflake topper. the envelope is easily made, scoring and folding along the white lines, and fixing together with DS tape.
A simple to make and very effective design. Very pretty in the purple and lilac tones something a little bit "different" for Christmas.
