Hanging Easel Card - Steampunk
My newest range of cards are called Hanging Easel cards. The pyramid image of a steampunk lady hangs in an aperture on the front of the card. The finished card measures 5.5 inches square.
The kit contains 4 printable pages - (base card and topper; pyramid layers, stay and captions; insert; and the main easel card itself), a preview image of a finished card and full instructions with step by step photographs.
There is a choice of 3 captions for each card. Please note that this card has a normal pyramid as the hanger. The instructions are for my butterfly hangers but the way of making the card is the same so you can use the same instruction sheet.

First of all I printed out everything onto white card and the insert onto white paper. I also printed out the instructions as I have never made an easel card before. I cut out all the pieces I followed the instructions easily.
I used a die cut circle to cut out the centre apertures, to make sure they were both equal. I used double sided tape to fix the insert to the main card. I assembled the centre hanging piece, putting invisible thread between the large centrepiece, which is double sided. I decoupaged the who and the hat using glossy accents on the heels, toes and the glasses.
I assembled the sentiment using sticky pads. I die cut steampunk corners in bronze metallic card as well as some cogs, which I added to the card.
I finally used black peel-off border around the centre aperture and at each end of the sentiment.
