Pottering in My Garden Over the Top Easel Card Kit
This unusual scenic easel card will make any gardener?s day. The neutral tones, make it suitable for both male and female gardener lovers. Five different sentiment panel layers are included for the easel stop panel and a blank panel is also included so that you can devise your own sentiments as well.
It?s suitable for lots of different occassions, including Birthdays, retirement, Mother?s Day or Father?s Day, and just sending friendly greetings.
The card can be left unlayered or you can add the optional decoupage layers that are also included. It comes with a matching envelope but it is also designed to fit a standard 6x6 inch envelope if you only want to make the card. This kit contains nine different sheets and step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains:
- a card base sheet with a greetings panel which has been left blank so that you can write your own greeting or message
- a sheet with the easel top panel and it?s optional decoupage layers
- a sheet with the easel stop panel; the optional decoupage layers for the stop panel; two sentiment panel layers (?Old gardeners never die, They just go to pot!? and ?Wishing you a special day that?s full of all the things that you enjoy?)
- a sheet with three more sentiment panel layers for the stop panel (?Gardeners don?t grow old, They just spade away!?; ?I do so like to plant and sow, And then sit back and watch things grow? and ?It?s your Birthday, Relax and enjoy your day?) and a blank sentiment panel that you can use to devise your own sentiments
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a matching backing paper that you can print onto the reverse side of the easel base and top panel sheets if you would like the back of the card to be patterned
- a sheet with a free matching seed packet
- a sheet with a second free matching seed packet
All the sheets are 300dpi, high resolution sheets, for quality printing.

I printed this kit onto 180gsm card and cut out all the pieces. I scored and folded the base card as required and then added the backing paper to cover the white parts and to increase rigidity.
I then added the main topper and the easel 'stop' sentiment before adding the decoupage using foam pads. A very easy card to make but novel enough to stand out in a crowd.
I printed the envelope and seed packets onto heavy paper, cut them out and made them up using DSST and envelope glue on the flaps.
I printed the card sheets onto 250grm. matte photo paper, cut out the pieces and made the card up adding the layers using sticky pads.
Other words on the stopper could be GARDENERS DON'T GROW OLD, THEY JUST SPADE AWAY, I DO SO LOVE TO PLANT AND SOW, AND THEN SIT BACK AND WATCH THINGS GROW or WISHING YOU A SPECIAL DAY THAT'S FULL OF THINGS THAT YOU ENJOY.

The easel base and top panel sheets were printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper, with the backing paper printed onto the reverse of the sheets, while the remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets. No additional embellishments have been added.
Beautiful easel card. I loved the seed packets too. I put little beads in them and glued them shut. Sounds like there are seeds of love inside of them when you shake them. I truly love this card
