Stand-alone Easel Card Kit - Sweet Summer
These cards are a new twist on the much loved Easel format and mean that the card is able to be displayed upright without needing to have a base panel showing at the front.
They feature an interesting double opening at the front through which the inner pictures can be seen through the frames, and can also be built up with stacker elements. The main front of the card is then decorated with optional decoupage.
As with most of my kits, they come with lots of pyramage and decoupage elements, allowing you to make them as simple or as complex as you choose.
Every one comes with a large assortment of greetings and relationship tiles, making them really versatile and suitable for almost every occasion, such as birthdays, anniversaries, get well wishes, mother's day, father's day, thinking of you, thank you etc.
They are really easy to make, fold flat and every kit includes a simple to follow tutorial, which can also be seen in the forum tutorials section.
The kits also include a coordinating box, so no problems with finding an envelope!
This design features beautiful arrangements of camellias and summer fresh acorns.

I printed onto 200 gram smooth card and made up following the simple instructions. I scored and folded the main card and the front part and added the front using strong narrow double sided tape.
I added the pyramid layers using sticky pads and added my sentiment to the top.
These are so easy to make but look so complicated. You can make the box to match but I prefer to use a normal envelope. This folds flat to fit inside an envelope. I love the 3D effect of these and they are just a bit different to the normal easel cards

Print the sheets on quality cardstock and score where indicated. Then cut out all the pieces and follow the instructions provided for constructing the easel. I used quick drying glue to put the card together and foam pads for the decoupage.
I adhered a bow with glue dots and placed gold peel-offs in the top two corners. This is a surprisingly easy to make card that goes together very quickly. I am particularly taken with its soft colours and delicate appearance. It is so lovely, the fortunate recipient will be proud to display it long after their special occasion.
