Exploding Box - Lemon and LimeCompleted by Peggy Stogdill

Occasion
Anniversary / Anniversary

I've wanted to make one of these for ages, but thought it would be very complicated. Guess what? It's easy! I printed the sheets on matte photo paper, then put them back through and printed the included backing on the backs.

I cut out the box pieces, scored, folded and creased them, then added the 3-D panels to each with thin foam pads.

I then attached the bottoms of the nesting boxes to each other with a bit of strong dst, constructed the lids for the small box and the largest box, added some flowers to the little one and printed another copy of the largest box lid, cut out the heart motif and layered it on the lid with silicone gel.

This gave me an extra set of the little panels, so I decoupaged them to the outside of the box with silicone gel, making sure to position them so the lid would go on properly.

Some lemon and lime glitter glue on the lids, and a couple of little buttons and this adorable little box was done.

I love it!
