I printed each layer of the box onto 220gsm white card and cut them out. I printed them again onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper to get the inserts for each panel and cut these out and attached them to each panel using wet glue.
I scored each section of all layers. I assembled the box lid in a similar fashion. I added the greeting panel on the top of the lid then attached the teddy and greeting using strong double sided tape.
I cut out each bootee and I found it easier to assemble using strong double side tape rather than wet glue.
I attached the sole of each shoe using wet glue. I punched a small hole in the strap and on the shoe and attached together using a small pink brad.
Great fun to make and a nice wee gift could also be placed inside.
A lovely box that will be kept for many years.
