This is a great card that uses just 1 sheet of cardstock, scissors, and craft glue! After printing the front, flip to print the background (a homey wood grain.) Then just cut the pieces and layer on the side.

The finished size is just under 10 x 14.5 cm and gives you plenty of space to write a message.
