Curved Flap Gatefold Kit - Yellow Gerberas
This is one of a new range of gatefold cards with curved front flaps, topped with decoupaged displays.
Every aspect of the card is provided in these kits including inside panels and a back panel to cover all construction, so no having to search around for sheets of coordinating card from your own stock.
The cards are really simple to make yet the finished item looks complex and as though it has taken hours! There is a picture tutorial included with every kit.
There are lots of decoupage elements to choose from, meaning you can add as much or as little as you choose, as well as a wide selection of greetings tiles including blank, making these cards suitable for birthdays, get well, thank you, anniversary and so many other occasions.

This design features sunny yellow gerbera flower arrangements set on a bright checked background. So pretty.

I printed the design onto good quality255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I attached the gatefold doors to the insert using strong double sided tape. I attached white card to the back of the card for more support. I did this using strong double sided tape.
This also hides the flaps from the doors. I added the back panel using strong double sided tape. I attached the insert panels to the doors using strong double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage and added the greeting using thin foam tape.
I added a blob of silicone glue under the wings of the butterfly to give more definition. I added glitter to the centre of the flowers to complete this gorgeous design.
I printed the inner back and outer back onto 160gsm card, the fronts and decoupage onto 200gsm photo paper and the inserts onto 120gsm paper.
I scored, cut out and assembled the card as per the instructions and added all the decoupage using foam pads.
