African Lady Portrait Kit
My African Lady Portrait large Iris Folding design. It looks complicated but it is actually very easy to make! The total number of folds is 44, doesn't have any complicated folds, no double folds, and no corner folds either.
I would suggest using thin papers for folds.
The Kit includes the portrait's face paper piecing, 4 different backgrounds on which you can print the Iris Folding design, and also 1 sheet of greeting tags in 7 different colors with Happy Birthday and Just For You greetings.
One more tag from each color left blank where you can write your own greeting suitable for the occasion. This lovely portrait design is suitable for making a framed picture.

I've tried few combinations of backgrounds and origami paper/ washi tape/foil and ribbons to make this beautiful portrait of African girl, another amazing sample of Anna's iris folding art.
So I printed the images (backgrounds) onto semi gloss photo paper, cut out and completed iris folding following the pattern.
I printed the faces onto adhesive photo paper, cut them out, added the earrings and attached to the cards. 2 of them I made as a framed picture and 2 as a card.
Here is my finished African Lady Portrait made with my design which I will frame soon. I made it on A4 size paper which I first painted and then started the Iris Folding for which I have used thin shiny paper.
This Iris Folding pattern doesn't have any difficult folds and is with regular folds only, so it is not difficult at all to make this beautiful picture!
To give an even more fancy look to the whole picture I have added an earring to my lady. Very pleased with the result!
