Gold Brocade Fan Top Spring Card KitCompleted by Joan King - Kingcrafts

I made this design into a more traditional card at the request of one my ladies. I was very happy how it turned out but I have made several of Robyn's spring top cards and they are gorgeous.

I used a cup backing sheet printed straight onto 300gm white pearlescent card which has a sparkly sheen to it.

I added the fan segments and the various decoupage elements of the rose using 1mm mini foam mounts. I placed some red gemstones onto the last fan blade and down the right hand side fancy border and then attached my own Birthday Greeting with 2mm mini foam mount pads.

Just another take on a lovely card. I printed the envelope onto 160gm paper and scored and cut out where indicated and attached using a Pritt glue stick to give me a few moments to get it straight.

The card still fits beautifully into the matching envelope.
