I made this from the inspiration of J MacFurlane, I made it in pink instead of green and it is made from chip wood.

I made it much taller and added foam core into the base for extra support. I then added the decorations of artificial flowers, ribbons, and lace.

I made it into a jewelry box with a tray that lifts out. Originally intended as a popup card box I did a bit of changing to it. Also on the inside of the lid, I added the pockets to hold the bookmark and other items. The lid is hinged with ribbon.

I think with the ribbon roses and all the pearls it has made it very feminine. I added a gold key and a watch face to the top because I couldn't find a heart with a key.

I figured time is the key to true love. The bookmark is also decorated and intended for use as a pretty.
