Ballet Shaped Tri Fold Card Kit
This sweet shaped tri fold card is for all the ballet fans and budding dancers out there. It would make a nice Birthday card or could be used to wish a dancer good luck or congratulations for a dance recital. The card can be left unlayered or you can add the optional decoupage layers that are included. Three different verse panel layers are included for the middle section of the card, as well as a blank panel so that you can also devise your own.
If you don?t want to write your greeting on the front of the card, the blank panel can also be used on the back of the middle panel so that your greeting or message can be written on the back instead. The choice is yours.
The card comes with it?s own envelope but it?s also sized to fit a standard DL (approx 8.5x4.3 inch) inches) envelope if you don?t want to make the matching envelope. Step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains seven sheets in all:
- a shaped card base sheet with verse panel (We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams)
- a card layers sheet with the optional decoupage layers for the left hand ballerina
- a second card layers sheet with the optional decoupage layers for the right hand ballerina
- a final layers sheet with the optional decoupage layers for the verse panel for the middle section of the card. Three different verse panel layers are included (We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams); (Dancing with the feet is one thing But dancing with the heart is another); and (Dance is a delicate balance between perfection and beauty), a blank panel is also included so that you can devise your own panels as well
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a matching backing paper that you can print onto the back of your card base sheet if you want the back of your card to be patterned
All the sheets are 300dpi, high resolution sheets, for quality printing.

I printed the envelope sheet onto 128gsm. and the card sheets onto 250 & 200gsm. matte photo paper. I cut out the pieces and made up the envelope using wet glue and DSST. I scored and folded the card base before adding the layers using sticky pads.
This is a sweet card for any ballet loving little girl.
Printed on glossy photo paper. Pieces were cut out and mounted using 3d foam pads. Very cute girly card for the dancing enthusiasts.
The card base was printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper, with the backing paper printed onto the reverse side, while the remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets.
No additional embellishments have been added.
