Family Celebrations Decoupage Shaped Easel Card Kit
This delightful church card can be used to send your best wishes, or to make unusual invitations, for a range of family events including:
- weddings
- bridal showers
- blessings
- renewals of vows
- christenings
- baptisms
- confirmations
- first holy communion
Nineteen different sentiment panels, including a blank one, are included so that you can use this set for lots of different occassions. The card comes with it?s own envelope but it is also sized to fit a standard 5x7 inch envelope if you don?t want to make the matching envelope. Step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains SEVEN sheets:
- a sheet with the church shaped easel base (which includes a blank greetings panel so that you can add your own greeting or invitation details); the stop panel which includes a sentiment panel (On Your Wedding Day); and the sentiment panel decoupage layers.
- a sheet with the church shaped easel top panel and the top panel decoupage layers
- a sheet with nine alternative wedding themed sentiment panels to choose from for the stop panel (To A Special Couple; Wedding Invitation; Wedding Reception Invitation; Save The Date; Bridal Shower Blessings; On Your Blessing Day; Blessing Day Invitation; As You Renew Your Vows; Renewal of Wedding Vows Invitation)
- a sheet with nine alternative mixed sentiment panels to choose from for the stop panel (It?s Your Christening Day; Christening Invitation; On Your Baptism; Baptism Invitation; On Your Confirmation Day; Confirmation Invitation; First Holy Communion; Communion Invitation) and a blank sentiment panel so that you can write your own
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a backing paper sheet for you to print onto the reverse side of your easel base sheet and top panel if you want your card to have a pattern on the reverse side
All the sheets are 300dpi high resolution sheets for quality printing.

I printed the envelope sheets onto good quality paper and made up the envelope using wet glue and DSST. I printed the card sheets onto 250gsm matte photo paper cut out the elements and made up the card following the simple instructions, adding the layers using sticky pads.
I added a bow and some gems to complete this lovely card. There are lots of alternative captions. Wedding Invitation, As You Renew Your Vows, Wedding Reception Invitation, On Your Blessing Day, Renewal of Wedding Vows Invitation, To A Special Couple, Blessing Day Invitation, Save The Date or Bridal Shower Blessings.

I printed the easel card parts onto matt photo paper,backing with the background design included and the envelope parts on 160gsm paper and cut them out.
I used strong DST to make up the envelope. I followed the instructions to make up the easel. It all fits together easily.
I used flat glue for the base decoupage and 3D foam for the rest. I added round silver and pink gem mini brads for the church doors,before attaching.I added the greeting to the stopper and the stopper to the easel base with foam tape.I have added tiny pink pearl flowers to the greeting and below the cross. and diminute pearls to the pink bows.
I completed the card with 2 silver charm wedding rings. This is a beautiful easel design with a pretty matching envelope. It looks very appealing made up. I like Yvonnes idea that it can be used for any Family Celebration.
This is a versatile design,has lots of different greetings, and will be great for First Comunions, Confirmations, Special Anniversary Celebrations etc., which can be personalised to suit.

The card base and top panel sheets were printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper, with the backing paper printed onto the reverse side, while the remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets.
No additional embellishments have been added.
