Recipe Card Kit - Apple Pie Girls
I received a special request for kits of recipe cards to have a unique way to give the gift of their favorite recipes.
These versatile kits include a whopping 6 sheets each.
There is a sheet that contains 2 card toppers; a sheet that contains 2 coordinated lined recipe cards for hand-writing in your recipes; a sheet that contains 2 unlined recipe cards so that you can type in your recipes; a sheet that contains the blank recipe card outlines so that you can add your own background; a coordinating background sheet; and finally, a sheet that contains corner pockets for you to tuck your recipe cards into the main card and embellishments.
The corner pockets could be attached to either the outside of the card or the inside to slip your recipe into.
You could also laminate the recipe cards and attach a magnet. These kits are a great and practical way to share your favorite recipes.

I printed the background and sheets 1, 2 & 3 twice, and sheet 5 once. I have made two A5 cards with the recipe cards inside. I cut out the elements, making extra decoupage for the front, with the base images onto some black card.
I stuck the background paper inside and added two corners and the cards inside. I stuck sheets 2&3 back to back to make the recipe cards.
I printed all sheets onto 200gsm matt photo paper and the backing paper onto 160gsm paper and cut out the parts. I've made one card to hang up and the 2nd to open as a greeing card.I matted the pie image to a C5 300gsm lemon pearl card, and covered the reverse with the green backing paper using DST. I then added two of the corners, checking that my recipe card will fit. I punched 2 holes at the top and tied a length of blue silk bootlace thread. I added decoupage to front and added a die cut bottle of wine and
wine glass plus a tiny red bow. I framed 3 sides with a fine green border.
The 2nd topper,I attached to a red C5 card with two corners chomped out. I added a label with foam tape and 2 tiny vinyl hearts to the girls bows and a basket of bread! In this one I glued the backing paper to fit 2 inner pages, and fixed the recipe cards via the corners.(not shown) I have shown an example of a recipe card before writing the recipe. I know these are good for pies, but I have a few biscuit recipes that friends ask for,
so they'll be getting biscuit recipes!
I love the design of the pages and think it's a great way to send recipes.
