I printed the two sheets of the lantern onto 220gsm photo paper and the envelope parts onto 160gsm card. I cut out, scored and folded as per the instructions. I glued the two parts of the lantern together and joined them together at the top with blue satin ribbon.

I added the decoupage using foam pads and assembled the envelope. This is a very distinctive card and will surely surprise the recipient. This will also look good on the christmas tree, so you have a card and an ornament in one.
