Love & Romance Kit in Cerise with Step by Step DecoupageCompleted by Sallys Fidgety Fingers

I chose the elements of the kit that I wanted to use (Wedding cake decoupage, swirls backing paper and ?Wedding? tag.

I used a linen effect pale pink card as my base and added a mat of pale lilac and rounded all the corners.

I made up the decoupage and added a little pink and clear glitter. I wanted to place the cake image behind a shaker dome so I cut out a suitably sized oval aperture with my die cutter in the swirls backing paper which I then cut into a strip to fit the width of my mat and glued the dome in place.

Using my Spellbinders Persian accents I cut out 2 border strips in purple and lay them back to back in a position to be centrally behind the dome.

I glued the wedding cake topper in place centrally behind the dome and I added the tag with a brad and pink pearl.

I then glued the central strip to my lilac mat and using DST attached the whole thing to my base card.

I added a peel off border around the dome. To finish I added die cut flowers with added silver and pink pearl brads as well as Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms and two die cut flourishes all using purple and pink swirls paper.

Finally 3 small pink pearls were added in the upper left hand corner.
