This gorgeous background just sort of "happened" in my Photoshop Elements program. ;) This quote from Robert Brault fits perfectly: "If I choose abstraction over reality, it is because I consider it the lesser chaos." Have fun with the decoupage elements.

I printed this on cardstock, so the colors are muted, but will be stunning on quality photo paper as will be seen on cup243024_126 when completed.
I then cutout all of the pieces of the medallion.
I used silicone glue to attach each layer except the last one which I glued directly on the medallion. The finished topper was attached to a card blank using double sided tape.
