Gold Lantern - Watercolour View
A kit making a complete A5 card fitting a C5 envelope
The kit includes: the card front, the card back, a separate insert sheet and decoupage layers. The lantern is provided with the background intact to preserve the 'glass' of the lantern.
The card measures 6.4" x 8" and has an antique finish snowflake background set inside a gold frame covered with a green set overlay.
Holly clusters sit in top right and bottom left of the card. An image set behind a roundel of glass is framed by holly, ribbons, parcels and a large gold lantern.
A large sentiment label proclaims 'Merry Christmas', but a blank label is provided should you wish to change this greeting to one of your own.
The insert has a large area for a verse - available from CUP if required.
Each card in the sereis ahs a different scene in the roundel, and ribbon colour.

Using regular weight cardstock, I printed the 4 pages (which includes a beautiful insert and designer card back - no white on this one!) I left the white left edge on the card front, scored a fold line, and glued it between the insert and back to give a nice "hidden" fold.
Then I used scissors, craft knife, and foam tape for the decoupage layers. While others in the series I changed up a bit, with this card I followed the pieces and did exactly what was provided for in the way of layering.
