I resized and printed sheets onto matt photopaper, cut out and attached base to textured opaque vellum, then to C5 white card, cut out stocking and attached both sides together with foam pads and attached to base with silver cord as a dangling stocking, added decoupage with foam pads and finished with silver corner peel-offs and red gems.
A beautiful versatile design with so many choices of style of card to make.

I reduced the size somewhat and used my photo program to added words to one of the sentiment panels, then printed on 200gm matte photo paper.
I used the "flip canvas horizontal" command in my program (Adobe Photoshop Elements) and printed a mirror image of the "front side of Christmas Stocking background".
I also printed a few extra poinsettias for additional decoupage. To assemble, I glued the two copies of the background piece back to back, so one serves as an insert and the other covers the card back.
I scored and slightly valley folded a line approximately an inch from the top of this double piece, then used strong dst above the line on the insert side to attach the card front.
Added the decoupage and sentiment with silicone gel and finished with subtle touches of glitter. I still have the second copy of the stocking for another use. The card stands up perfectly and is truly spectacular :-)
