I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 card. I decided to try something different with this card. I cut out the screen of the phone and attached acetate behind using strong double sided tape.
I then attached the card to the 8 x 8 card using thin foam tape on the sides and bottom only.
This creates a pocket behind the acetate and the sheets included with the design can then be placed in the pocket allowing you to change the look of the cell phone.
I cut out the horse and icons from one of the sheets and attached these to the front of the card using thin foam tape.
I cut away the white area of the card still visible to suit the shape of the card. Each greeting could be added to a specific sheet before inserting it into the pocket thus giving a different look each time.
Like changing the phones wallpaper. Fabulous design.
I printed the components onto Crafty Bobs Matt photo paper. Using a craft knife I cut the 'screen' out of the cell phone and then cut out both the phone and the unicorn screen.
With the craft knife I carefully cut around the unicorn's tail and leg.
Using narrow double-sided tape I attached the 'screen' to the phone making sure to leave the tail and leg on top of the phone frame.
I chose my salutation and attached it with spongy tape. I mounted the phone onto textured yellow card (I like to have things not straight) and added the silver corner embellishments.
Just for fun I decorated the inside of the envelope with a similar theme.
A lovely easy card that dresses well!
