Stepping out Year of the Dog D
a series of cards fitting an 8x8 envelope [resizable]
Initiated by request, this series each features a different breed of dog. Set in a multi layered frame, each subject seems to protrude from the background image out of the frame of the card.
The card is offset with a flower stem and a scroll drop cluster. The center of the cluster is a medal commemorating 2018, the year of the dog.
The kit includes the card front, card back/insert and decoupage pieces for the elements of the card front. There are also two goldtone 'bone' shaped sentiment labels for your own greeting. The card back has room for your own verse,

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out.
I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape.
I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
