I printed onto 200 gram smooth card and printed the main cut and fold card out twice. I used the second print to add an insert. I just added them back to back and folded the insert the other way. This matched up perfectly and no trimming was needed.

I cut out the butterflies and left the white body showing instead of cutting out the wings separate. I did this because I like to layer my butterflies using sticky pads on the body part. Once my butterfly was layered I added the body to cover the white. I shaped the wings outwards for a lovely 3D effect and finished off with gems to the butterflies body.

This makes a lovely card that any butterfly lover would be delighted to receive
