I printed off the main image and sheet 1 on 170 gsm glossy photo paper and cut out the decoupage elements (I found it easier to cut out the small areas first i.e between the deer antlers and the legs as it held its shape better).

I printed off sheet 3 on good quality plain paper and trimmed this down to size. Firstly I matt and layered the main image onto good quality cream cardstock using dst. As I wanted to give extra depth to the computer screen I embossed the top and bottom screen slightly in the centre.

To keep the depth I added foam tape round the edges and a double foam pad in the centre of the top part of the image.

Before I added the decoupage elements I embossed the wings of the bird and adhered using a foam pad in the centre of the two wings with a small dot of glue on the birds body and wings before placing it on the image and holding the glued area in place, this gave the bird the look of flight, I embossed the body of the two pheasants and the front deer and attached using foam pads along with the other deer.

I carefully added spots of glue to the deer legs and held them in place, this added the feeling of depth.

When these were dry I then added this decoupaged image with the foam tape put on earlier and added the Happy Birthday with a strip of foam tape.

I used d/s tape to add the insert to the inside of the card
