in the woodsCompleted by Glenys Linehan
OccasionI printed off the main image and sheets 1 and 3 on 170 gsm glossy photo paper and the insert sheet on good quality paper.
Using dst I matt and layered the main image onto 240 gsm cardstock. I cut out all the images.
I used foam tape around the picture but did not attach it at this stage. I then cut the second image as shown in the photo, this was to give more depth to the animals as they were attached to the first.
I embossed the first image of the mare to give the roundness of the belly and used foam pads to attach it and dots of glue to attach the feet.
I then embossed the face of the mare to make this more pronounced and then attached this on top of the first.
I trimmed the rear legs of the foal to give this the appearance of being hidden by the grass and embossed the belly to give depth and used a bone folder carefully on the front of the immage on the mane to give this shape.
This was then attached using foam pads. I again embossed the head of the foal to make this stand out and attached this to the first. I then attached this to the main image already on the cardstock.
All that is left to do is to add the sentiment of choice.
