Mini 3D Butterfly (blue & Pink Pattern) Mini KitCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

I resized aand printed onto 160gsm paper and cut out the butterflies,leaving antennae on 2 only. I scored, folded down the centre,and edged with violet coloured ink. I used power glue stick to glue the butterfly halves together in a pile, glueing one with antennae 1st and 4th in order. I added a loop of nylon thread so I can hang this on my metal butterfly "tree"(I'm replenishing some of the butterflies I made,and gave away last year!)I glued the final butterfly half to the remaining half of the first one,to complete it. I added a little cristal stickles to the wings to catch the light,and a dot of purple stickles to the antennae tips. I made up the envelope with100gsm paper,scored ,folded added DST to the side tabs. Very simple to do and makes a lovely presentation for your butterfly gift.

The butterflies come in lovely colours and designs and would also be lovely, made up, say with 4 pieces, glued tothe end of a wooden skewer to embellish a plant! They are all gorgeous!
