Print out both sheets on quality cardstock and score before cutting out the card base. I chose gold mirror cardstock to back the card base. While the glue was drying I cut out the butterflies shaped their wings and added some glitter.

I also cut out the acetate strips and attached the butterflies to them with double sided tape. When the card base was dry, I cut on the two side border lines with a craft knife and folded on the score lines as indicated, making sure to make the folds nice and crisp.

I arranged the butterflies in the center steps and then glued the center step plates to cover the taping of the acetate to the card base.

I chose my sentiment from the many provided and attached it with foam pads. To complete the card I placed glitter in the shadowed parts of the Dahlias and placed a few butterflies amongst them.

This a lovely, bright, and cheery card which is sure to delight the fortunate recipient.
