Upon the Ocean Blue Mini-kit

After the long cold UK winter I wanted to design something that would make me think of the summer and the long hot days to come. (I can live in hope!)

So this is what I came up with.

A mini-kit to make you feel as if you are on the beach already.

In this kit you have

Sheet 1

This has your main card front on with layers of numbered decoupage. I have left the background in sails of the ship and other small areas that might be difficult to cut. But of course you can cut these out if you wish.

The ships wheel/compass has a little pyramage, this is layered by letters.

Sheet 2

You have a insert plaque (you could use this as another card front if you wished)

There is a choice of greetings and sea related quotes/sayings.

The greetings say

Happy Birthday

Bon Voyage!

Best Wishes

You Can't Change The Wind, However, You Can Adjust, Your Sails

All the text is on a sand effect background and has been raised to make it look as if it is built up in the sand. There are sea/beach related items on each.

You could put the quotes on the plaque or on main card front.

Also on here is a book mark with sea related pictures on and finally some little brad/buttons for embellishment purposes.

I hope you enjoy this design. As I was putting it together I could almost hear the waves crashing on the beach, the gulls calling overhead and the sand between my toes!
