Art Deco Fan shaped card with ladies enjoying afternoon tea birthday cardCompleted by LyndaMac Craft Designs
OccasionI printed the main sheet on 230gsm glossy photo paper and cut out the image.
I then used construction glue to stick the image onto 220gsm gold mirror card, leaving a border around the image.
Using my rotary blade and ruler (and craft knife in some parts) I cut the image on the gold card. to give a gold trim border.
I then took the shape with the image on the gold card and attached it with construction glue to a 300gsm 8x8 folded card blank and
making sure the top of the image was along the fold of the card blank.
I then drew around the topper and cut the card blank (both layers) to the shape of the topper using scissors and rotary blade.
This gave me a fan shaped card with a top fold and I printed "Happy Birthday" on one of the inserts and attached both insert with DST to the inside of the card.
I decorated the front with white pearls.
The card is very sturdy and stands firm and will fit in an 8x8 square envelope or C5 envelope.
There is no decoupage for this card but you could print an extra mainsheet and cut out for yourself.
