I printed the design on glossy photo paper and cut out the elements. I edged the front main and first decoupage layer with gold metallic marker and then mounted the front onto a gold 8 x 8 card blank with dst.
The first layer was mounted using foam squares.
I used Glaze pens to emphasize the bear's eyes, nose and the patch on his head. Glitter glue was used on the decoupage the add a little sparkle and gems were added to the cake. I finished the card front off with a pink flower in place of the bow.
The insert was printed off on 100gm paper, cut to size and mounted inside the card with dst. Overall this is a great design - I made this for a special friend on her 72nd birthday, but it would be just as suitable for a child.
Pretty but simple.
