Christmas Surprise Peekaboo Treat BagCompleted by Peggy Stogdill
Printed on white, lightweight cardstock. I cut out the bag, cutting out the window in the front, scored and folded where indicated (but didn't put it all together until the shutters were in place), then taped a piece of acetate behind the window.
Cut out the "shutters" and some of the decoupage. I wanted the shutters to be slightly open to give a peek of the contents, so I scored and valley folded them along their outside edges, then attached them to the bag with very narrow, strong DST.
The decoupage pieces were added with thin foam pads.
I assembled the bag using a glue stick, folded over the top, punched two holes, and tied it shut with some red cord.
I used the sentiment panel as a gift tag, punching a hole and threading one end of the cord through it and knotting it on the back.
Finished with orange glitter on the snowman's nose and some gold glitter on 3 of the stars in the other panel.
This is just adorable!
