My local gift store asked me to produce some smaller gift bags so I made some of these at half size.
They are then perfect for jewellery gifts. I printed them onto matte photo card then scored & folded. I added a ribbon handle then assembled using strong DST.
I attached the small tag using a piece of matching ribbon.
I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded each side of the bag as instructed. I assembled the bag using strong double sided tape.
I punched two holes where indicated on the top flap and threaded lilac organza ribbon through the holes to create the handle.
I secured the ribbon using strong double sided tape on the underside of the flap. I then added this flap to the bag as instructed using strong double sided tape. I also used ribbon to attach the gift tag to the bag.
To secure the flap I use a magnetic fastener that I attached to the bag before adding the top flap.
I added the large butterfly using thin foam tape on the body only. I placed a blob of silicone glue under the wings to give more definition. I added glitter to the butterfly to complete this gorgeous bag.
