I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the design as instructed. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I attached the straps to the backpack using strong double sided tape. I added the buckles using thin foam tape.
I added the pocket to the front of the card using thin foam tape on three sides only. I attached the back to the front of the card using the top flap as instructed.
I printed onto matt photo card (and the separate insert onto smooth card) and cut the parts out. I followed the photo instructions mostly, to put everything together.
I used collall photo glue for flat joins, power tape for the strap ends and handle, foam tape round 3 sides for the front pocket, open at the top for placing a gift card in.
The small teddy flap is attached to the pocket front, with the strap and buckle glued between. I attached only one centre front strap joining the teddies so the buckle can be unfastened to find the gift card in the lower pocket.
I glued (ends) and folded(tops) of the back straps so they can lie flat for posting and this works well.
I ten used thin DST to add the insert, taking this into account. The teddy decoupages are siliconed. This is a gorgeous backpack design. It has a real "wow" effect on the recipient. The finished card is adorable and is so cute !
I feel sure it would be enjoyed by a wide range of ages! I love it!
