Christmas Foil Panel - The Tree
One in a series of cards all 8x8, but easily resized - instructions in store front on how to reduce to 7x7 or 6x6
The card has sides which are overlaid with intricate gold lace. The middle panel has an outline of the kit title, and is off set round the frame of the panel with a seasonal cluster, a layered bow and two jeweled pear shaped finials.
When assembled, the front panel covers the panel on the card back, hiding your verse until the card is opened. If you make it as a traditional card front, this wont happen and your verse will be inside the card as normal.
The kits include: card template for the front pieces [to reduce printer ink!] decoupage layers for the card front, the seasonal cluster, jewels, bow and a separate card back.

This lovely card comes with instructions and a full page of sentiments to choose from. It requires 5 pieces of cardstock, but I used 6 because I felt the side openings needed reinforcement (printed 2 of "silver sheet").
In addition, that allowed me to put the side design on the inside of the card, giving it a more finished feel.
I used the usual - glue, scissors, craft knife, and foam tape to construct and add the layers. Also, I chose to have the main piece open on the left which keeps the layers out of the way for us right-handers to sign the card.
