Faded Festivities 30
A kit producing an 8x8 card
The kit includes the card front, optional aperture layer, decoupage elements and a matching card insert. The aperture layer could be used as an alternative to the insert provided as an additional option.
The main image covers the whole of the card and is faded, This is framed with an unusual gold frame and is covered by gold filigree latticework. In the centre the image is repeated smaller and in full resolution.
Floral clusters hang at the side adjacent to each other and drops hand from them.
An unobtrusive sentiment is written on the card top right behind the lattice, relating to the image on the card

I printed this file onto matte photographic paper and fixed the base image onto a white card blank. I cut out the second layer and removed the centre circle creating a window and fixed it to the base image using foam strips.
I constructed the decoupage using silicone glue.
I added gold pearl drops to gems around the frame and Glossy Assents to the gems on the image and the berries.
Lastly I added glitter to the snow flakes and snowy areas. This is a lovely, colourful traditional image, it looks great as it is but it lends itself beautifully to being made into a shaker card.
The second picture shows the depth of the decoupage
