Home for Christmas Portrait Fold Over the Top Card Kit
An over the top card featuring a warm and welcoming Christmas house covered with snow. It can be used as a quick card or you can add the optional decoupage layers that are included. A blank sentiment panel is also included so that you can devise your own sentiment if you prefer.
This design uses a card base with a portrait fold so it won?t splay open and gradually flatten with time while on display. It comes with a co-ordinating envelope and insert though it is also sized to fit a standard C5 (9x6.5 inch) envelope if you only want to make the card. Step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains SIX sheets:
- a card base sheet with sentiment panel (Home for Christmas)
- a layers sheet with the optional decoupage layers for the house and sentiment panel which includes a blank sentiment panel layer so that you can also devise your own sentiment
- a card insert sheet which has been left blank for your own greeting or message
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a backing paper sheet for you to print onto the reverse side of your card base sheet if you want the back of your house to be patterned
All the sheets are 300 dpi high resolution sheets for quality printing.

I printed the insert onto 120gsm paper and the rest onto 200gsm card and cut out all the pieces. I scored and folded as required and assembled the card, adding the insert using dst and the decoupage and sentiment using foam pads.
A super card which is easy to make.
The card base was printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper, while the remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets. No additional embellishments have been added.
