ROBIN CHRISTMAS DECOUPAGE: 8 by 8 Inch Mini Kit with 8 Sentiment Tags & Commercial Use
This cute Christmas robin decoupage mini kit is quick and easy to make, yet turns into a beautiful card that anyone is sure to love.
This three page mini-kit gives you:
-One sheet containing the 8 by 8 inch card background and five sentiment tags.
-A second sheet containing a square picture that is the first layer of decoupage, a robin image that is the second layer of decoupage, and three more sentiment tags.
-A third sheet containing a matching insert, and bonus gift tag. You can either cut and fold the tag, or use the images on the tag as separate mini-toppers on other cards or craft projects.
Finally, the entire kit comes with small-scale commercial use, meaning that you can sell anything you physically hand-make from any element of the kit, whether on Craftsuprint or anywhere else. Have fun with this kit!

This design, by Clare Walker, is a real bonus for the purchaser. So many variations and ideas, all in one purcahse order.
I have made full use of the Zip file, and have included, only 4 of the photographs showing, the use I have made of, the various sheets.
For the main card I made, I printed the sheet twice. Once onto 80 gsm white copy paper, and once onto, 200gsm, white card.
I made several backing sheets, but began, by making the main white card, which measures 29cm wide x 15cm high. I folded this in half, and set it aside while I prepared the backing sheets. Working from the top backing sheet, which is the smallest, I made a white card cut at 12cm square, which I matted, onto the back of the main art work, which also measures, 12cm, square. The next backing sheet is a textured, silver grey, core card, 13cm square, and using D.S tape again I matted the main art work to this. I cut a gold backing sheet, at 13.5cm square, and used padded tape to attach it to the back of the silver, grey card. I wanted one more piece of height, so I used a plain white card cut at 13.75 cm square, and before attaching this, I edged it with a broad, water based tipped, pearl, green metallic marker. I used D.S. tape to attach this to the back of the gold backing sheet . I wrapped the cream Merry Christmas ribbon vertically 2.5 cm in, from the left hand edge, and wrapped it around, to attach it firmly to the back of the last white, backing sheet. I was then able to use the D.S tape, to matte this completed set of backing sheets, onto the main card front. I left a larger white margin at the top edge, to be able to attach a bow later on.
I was now able to continued with the 200gsm white card copy and cut away, the snow drops and berry frame, to use next. I first matted it onto a white card, 12cm square. I then edged it with a gold glitter pen, before attaching it, in place, to the card front, with padded tape. I then used the silver edged piece of art work, that shows robin sitting on the branch in the snowy scene, to mount with D.S tape onto a silver backing sheet 8.3cm square. I edged this on all sides with a silver glitter pen, and attached it to the card front with D.S tape.
I then used the copy of the 2 robins, which I again, printed onto 200gsm card, and cut out one of the robins sitting on the branch and all the berries. I used a mixture of padded squares, and very narrow red power tape, to attach this to the card front. I used the smaller version of the robin, without a beak and legs, and without the berries and branch, to add, as the top layer of the decoupage.
I coloured some peel off strips in a light red. and added them to the main white card section, and tied the bow, then, attached it with red power tape, and the sentiment with padded tape.
For the insert, I copied, the recommended insert sheets, and matted them both to a pearl ivory backing sheet, cut to size. I added one of the miniatures one the left hand side, and a personal greeting on the other side.
For the gift card, I used a copy of the sheet that has the gift card double image, to enlarge to measure 13cm x 6.5, and printed it onto white 200gsm card. I used my word program, and the, Brush Script Std, to print the Merry Christmas and the to and from at font size,16, and both in red. I found a robin in my clip art file and made it very tiny to add to the inside of the gift card.
I cut this down to size, and edged it with the green metallic pen, before, attaching it to the inside of the gift card.
All in an afternoon's work, of joy and complete satisfaction.
Thank you for this, so very useful, design. I will be able to use it time and agin and with many different formats and with many different backing sheets.
