Seasonal Scrolls - 16
for a complete card or a topper fitting an 8x8 or larger envelope.
An old scroll has been unfurled to reveal a seasonal scene.
The scroll is adorned with a large Christmas bauble drop hanging from the top right corner of the scroll.
Down the left hand side of the scroll is a lace banner decorated with large flowers, some having green holly leaves and golden leaf swirls. The flowers, baubles and scenes are different on each card in the series.

I downloaded and made a copy for this card with glossy photo paper. Then are used a dark lavender or purple card stock for the base and then added a sparkly gold on top of that and then did the cutting out of the pattern pieces.
Before mounting the main image I did lots of glitter and gold and a few jams adding them to the main pattern.
I then use mounting foam to attach the main image onto the sparkly pattern.
I also used a little silver foil and glued it down to the bottom of the main picture and then added the flowers on the left and the Christmas decoration on the right and I darkened the happy Christmas.
When this was done I attached the card to an 8 inch Bob’s Cup blank square card and also put a little bit more gold around the edges.
I used the extra pieces of the pattern for the inside and made a nice insert.
I enjoyed working with these different colors and the tropical flowers. After all Christmas does come each year even Arizona and the Tropics.
